While I was at my standing hair appointment one day back in the 60's, my hairdresser asked me if I wound attend a party at her home the following weekend? She was having a few of her friends over and would like to have me come. She told me the dress would be casual and she would be serving heavy appetizers and not to eat prior to coming.
There were a lot of couples in attendance and the party was just getting into full swing when our hostess made the following announcement. “Thank you all for coming to our surprise wedding ceremony”. At that, the person officiating the wedding appeared, my hairdresser and her boyfriend took their places in front of him and the ceremony began. In minutes the couple was married and we all were very surprised indeed.
